Please note: Virtually all of these BONUS brand disk packages have been slit open (see photo #1) along the front top edge of the package (where the knife is) but the sides of the top flap (corresponding to where the finger is) have not been slit. Therefore, it seems virtually impossible that the disks have been removed from their packages because the top flaps on these packages could not have been opened far enough to easily remove the disks--if at all. We were told that these slits were made in order to determine the color of the disks due to the fact that the same exact box style (all having a photo of a red disk on the front) had been used for identical disks of other colors (besides just blue) and that the distributor wanted to sort these according to color. This seems to be the most plausible explanation for why these are slit like this-- just enough to perhaps determine the color. Because these have been slit like this we are significantly reducing the price even though every disk we have tested seems to work flawlessly and we are providing a 30-day guarantee on these.

10-packs of NEW 5.25" DSDD KAO brand disks. Unformatted. Same as above except boxes are somewhat squished. Disks inside are guaranteed to be ok. The KAO label on the disk itself is slightly washed-out looking (looks as though the adhesive backing of the label has absorbed a bit into the label itself). Not really a serious factor-- just a cosmetic imperfection. Also, the disk surface on some of these are slightly imperfect (probably due to age). However, we have also seen that the surfaces of the disks in many of these packages have been excellent. We just don't want to go through and open them all to look at them when we haven't had any complaints. We have sold hundreds of packages of these disks over the last several months and no customer has reported problems using them. Due to the age of these disks we are now selling them AS IS. The sleeves that come with these are high grade Tyvek (Dupont) sleeves which are much nicer than regular paper sleeves. Photographs are for representational purposes only. The actual cosmetic damage to the box may be more or less severe than the photographs. Only 2 noticeably squished boxes available!
